Marcel Hirscher returned to doing what he does best as he won the Night Race in Schladming after a tense battle with Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen with Daniel Yule taking third place. With a huge crowd lining the course, it was sad to see elements of the crowd trying to disrupt Kristoffersen on his second run with a barrage of snowballs. Andre Myhrer and Manny Moelgg took fourth and fifth in the final slalom before the Olympics. Britain’s Dave Ryding finished in 12th place.
