Interesting courses help to push Minis faster

The Under 10 and 12 age groups may not have the pressures of exams that the older racers in Landgraaf had and so it was great to see so many racing. Over a quarter of the whole field in Landgraaf were in these two age groups and the time on a snow plus the opportunity to see how the older racers prepared meant this was also a great learning curve for them.

Laura Harrison Smith took the race spoils and under 12 age group win on the first day with Isabel Sadler, an Under 10 racer, running her close overall. Sadler posted the fastest first run time before losing out to the older racer on the second run. Two runs down the same course gave the these pocket rockets some good experience on the slope and with the best time from the two runs to count, it meant they had two chances to go their fastest. Madelaine Fairful took third place overall.

The Under 12 boys race was won by Charlie Quinn with Adam Harrison Smith and Liam Atkinson joining him on the podium. The best Under 10 was Ryan Faber.

In the Pro Slalom Isabel Sadler swapped places with Laura Harrison Smith, Madelaine Fairful third again. In the boys race Quinn won again but this time from Geno Hounsham with Adam Harrison Smith in third.

Day two saw Sadler continue her winning run with Harrison Smith and Fairful in second and third. In the boys race it was  Quinn, Harrison Smith with Callum Pillay podiuming for the first in third.
