The future of ski racing is looking bright in Norwich

With over thirty Under 10 and Under 12 racers on the start list in Norfolk for the Club National, ski racing in the flatest county in the United Kingdom is still appealing! Over 370 School age children raced in Norwich a couple of weeks ago and it is heartening to hear that over twenty of them have already joined clubs. The youngest two age groups of racing still attract a healthy field and the quality of racing was inspiring as well. It is keeping the young racing that is the challenge facing all the administrative bodies now!

After three runs with the best time to count towards prizes, it was Kitty-Jay Caldwell who took the win in the Under 10 girls with Ryan Faber taking the boys prize.

In the Under 12 girls age group, Amber Fennell took the fastest time ahead of Abigail Putman with Daisy Putman one hundredth behind her in third. Harry Duncan was fastest on all three runs in the Under 12 Boys race with Jake Dade second and Kieran Mitchell just edging out Liam Atkinson for the final place on the podium.
