Ryding admits he ‘did not really get going’ as he struggles into 20th after run 1 in Aspen

Dave Ryding is in 20th after the first run of the final slalom of the World Cup season. It has been a “pretty special season,” he explained in the finish after the first run but with Marcel Hirscher leading the race, 1.44 seconds ahead of him, Andre Myhrer is just 0.08 seconds behind with Stefano Gross leading a closely packed group all the way to the end of the field.
