Hirscher gives rest of the field lesson in spring snow racing

The globes may have all been tied up before the racing started but there is nothing more that Hirscher takes seriously than his racing. If there is a race to be taken part in, the Austrian wants to win it. Second after the first run, Hirscher produced a stunning performance to win the final race of the Giant Slalom World Cup season with first run leader, Felix Neureuther taking second and Mathieu Faivre taking third after Alexis Pinturault crashed out on the second run.
