An incredible second run charge by Marcel Hirscher of Austria grabbed him a giant slalom win in Garmisch by beating Sweden’s Matts Olsson by a huge 1.50 seconds, with Stefan Luitz of Germany in third. The course was specially water injected prior to the race, which made the course hold up throughout the whole race in Garmisch, Germany.
