Hirscher gets first GS win of the season in Alta Badia

Marcel Hirscher rounded off a great two days for the Austrian ski team by winning the giant slalom in Alta Badia, Italy. Hirscher beat Mathieu Faivre of France by 0.71 seconds with Italy’s Florian Eisath in third. It was Marcel Hirscher’s first GS win this World Cup season and a great weekend for Austria after Max Franz’s downhill win in Val Gardena.
