Zak Vinter lead the British contingent in the results from the FIS races in Pfelders, Italy in taking seventh in the first of the two Slaloms. While the results from Rob Poth and Ashley Breese were not what the coaches wanted, EDEP coach, Richard Breese explained how things had gone so far: “Not too bad so far, conditions terrible and big entry which doesn’t mix well but good skiing and times well in with the Austrian team boys so going in the right direction. Both Zak and Rob put in good runs in with Zak finishing 7 yesterday. Rob out yesterday and today on second run but had great first runs, 5 yesterday and 9 today just needs to finish second runs the same.”
