British baselayer company, Burnt Custard, launches new product in November 2016

A young British company has launched a new baselayer range with a number of unique selling points that include locally sourced and manufactured products, customisable designs and an affordable, high-quality material with extremely durable characteristics.

The lightweight, water repellent material is fully breathable, UV resistant and anti-bacterial. The product is 100% British, from the fabric, tags, packaging and manufacturing – creating a genuinely environmentally friendly product that travels less than one hundred and fifty miles from factory to retailer or consumer.

Customers have a choice of options when it comes to purchasing too – there’s off the shelf products along with a fully customised service available on their website at the point of purchase.

Founders Chris Lounds, Ash Luker and Phil Miller, experienced skiers who spent many seasons in the Alps, spotted a niche in the market for a customisable and high quality baselayer, this led them to set up their own British manufacturing process and will now bring their baselayers to market after an extensive testing period.

Burnt Custard are really excited to offer customers the choice to ‘UCustom’ their own baselayer. Using a simple yet engaging website process that gives the customer thousands of choices to let their creativity flow and fun at the same time.

The customer will also have the option to purchase from a range of ‘off the peg’ favourite styles created by Burnt Custard. Due to the British based manufacturing process Burnt Custard have established, they are able to continually bring new colours and styles to the market, with limited editions being introduced throughout the year.
