Snowsport Scotland are looking for a Performance Director

If you are looking to get involved in winter sport the Snowsport Scotland are advertising a role that could be just for you. Snowsport Scotland is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic individual to become the Performance Director (voluntary) on the Snowsport Scotland Board. This role is key to the progress of the sport in Scotland by having an objective view of the company’s strategy and operations, in particular in the area of performance. 

A background in working with performance athletes or experience of working with sporting bodies (not necessarily with snowsports bodies) in a performance or other context is desirable but not a requirement. Further, expertise and enthusiasm for performance sport, knowledge of the legal responsibilities of being a Director and an objective viewpoint are essential to providing support and expertise to the Board of Snowsport Scotland.

As a Board member, you will help to shape the future of Scottish snowsports. This is an opportunity for someone with enthusiasm for sport to make a real contribution to the growth of snowsports in Scotland. It offers the potential for the development of new/existing skills, meeting new people and new networks.
