Olympian Dominic Parsons will be joined in the men’s squad by overall Intercontinental Cup winner, David Swift, from Newton Abbott, Devon, who replaces Ed Smith as he continues his recovery.  Races for the men are on Saturday (11.30 and 13.15 GMT).

Olympic Champion Lizzy Yarnold, Laura Deas and Rose McGrandle will race a double-header with the world cup on Saturday (08:30 and 10.30 GMT) and the rescheduled European Championships on Sunday (07.00 and 08.30 GMT) after track conditions caused a last-minute postponement in La Plagne last weekend.

The points gained from these World Cup races will determine how many spots British Skeleton will be allocated for this season’s World Championships, taking place in Winterberg.

All of the racing in Austria will be shown live via the BBC Sport website.
